Rag rugs are a timeless tradition that are not only beautiful pieces for your home but also are durable and long-lasting. This is a handmade woven rag rug designed originally and made lovingly on an antique Reed Cambridge floor loom.
Snow Stripes Rag Rug
This rug is 38 inches long and 23.5 inches wide. The warp is 100% cotton threads in white with stripes of contrasting teal blue/green and dark green. The weft is white knit.
When rugs come off the loom, they are very tight. The more you use it, the softer and more relaxed it will become. You may see some puckering in the rug pictures, but, again, once you lay the rug down and use it, those spots will relax and will lay flat.
The warp is 100% cotton and the weft is a mixture of materials varying from cotton and cotton blends. This rug has been prewashed and dried and is ready for use. Washing instructions are included with the rug.
